Instructions

    • 1

Remove any embedded fibers that are visible with tweezers after washing the affected area with a mild soap.

    • 2

Immerse yourself in water as cold as you can stand for at least two minutes. This will close your pores and prevent the fiberglass from becoming further embedded. Adjust the water to as hot as you can stand it. This will help to remove the fiberglass. You can also use nylon stockings or a wash cloth to remove the fiberglass by rubbing it gently on affected areas.

    • 3

Apply packing tape to affected areas, gently press it down onto your skin to remove the fiberglass, and carefully pull it off if nothing else works. Be careful if applying tape to areas with a lot of hair, as it could come off with the tape.
