How to Remove Corns Easily

Corns begin when a bone rubs against your shoe repeatedly, causing your skin to thicken in a small area. Corns are small and hard, and can be very deep and painful. Unlike warts, corns do not spread and aren't contagious. Prevention is an important aspect of keeping corns at bay. Many people find that certain shoe styles, such as shoes with pointy toes or high heels, trigger pressure points on their feet and cause corns to form.

Instructions

    • 1

Exfoliate the corn with a pumice stone to allow the salicylic acid to fully penetrate the corn.

    • 2

Apply a salicylic acid pad to the corn. The salicylic acid will work to remove the corn while the pad will provide comfort and protection.

    • 3

Every two days, remove the salicylic acid pad, exfoliate the corn with the pumice stone, and apply a new salicylic acid pad until the corn is removed.

    • 4

Avoid shoes with pressure points in the areas you are prone to corns to avoid re-injuring your feet.
