How to Remove Krazy Glue From Hands

Krazy Glue (ethyl-cyanoacrylate) is an extremely strong, fast-acting solvent that will bond most materials. The product creates an extremely strong bond, which of course is great when it's applied to the proper places. Unfortunately, if the proper precautions aren't taken with Krazy Glue, it can get on your hands. A common occurrence is "sticky fingers"--which usually results in your fingers getting stuck together, or stuck to something else. Krazy Glue can be removed from your hands, but it takes the proper solvent or a lot of patience.

Instructions

    • 1

Pour a small amount of nail polish remover with acetone on the affected area. Wipe the area with a disposable rag or cloth. Using acetone on the glue will break the bond and remove the glue. Wash your hands with soap and water afterward.

If you don't have acetone handy, continue with the other removal options.

Soak your hands in warm, soapy water. This process may take some time, but it will slowly help loosen the glue from your hands.

    • 3

Rub your hands together, concentrating on the affected area. By doing this, you will slowly pull apart the glue.
