Tamanu Oil Uses
Tamanu oil, from the Pacific islands, is a topical oil that has several healing and skincare properties. The tamanu tree bears fruit only once a year, and it takes one tree to produce five kilograms of the pressed oil from the nut kernel inside the fruit. This makes the oil a highly-valued commodity. Because of its greenish-amber color and its wide array of uses, tamanu oil is often referred to as "green gold."-
