How to Put on a ProCare Universal Knee Support
The Procare Universal Knee Support is a compression wrap made of neoprene and is used for knee stabilization after strains, sprains or other moderate patellar (kneecap) disorders. There are two styles of wrap, one with closed patella and one designed with an open hole that the kneecap fits into. Both styles come in universal sizing and have adjustable straps for comfort and stability. These two styles of neoprene wrap are recommended for mild to moderate compression and patellar control.Things You'll Need

1
Sit down before you attempt to put the brace on. Completely loosen the adjustable straps and slide the wrap over the foot and gently pull over the calf and position over the knee. In proper position, the knee will be approximately in the middle of the wrap, with equal amounts of material above and below the joint.

2
Adjust the strap below the knee so that is fits snugly but not too tight as to cut off circulation. For the open knee wrap, the patella (knee cap) should fit comfortably behind and into the open hole. For the closed knee version, the whole knee is covered and the slit is placed directly in the bend behind the knee.

3
Adjust the top strap over the knee so that the brace does not slip up and down or side to side. Stand up and walk a few steps to ensure the brace is snug but not too tight.
