1
Let your cut heal for at least a day so the healing process has begun. A fresh cut is not going to react to the aloe. It’s much too moist. Cover the fresh cut with a bandage and then apply aloe the next day, once the healing has begun.

2
Make sure everything is squeaky clean. Wash your hands with soap and water. Clean and disinfect the cut using soap, water and hydrogen peroxide or a small amount of other disinfecting solution.

3
Get some aloe. You can buy bottles of aloe, which should come as a thick, green liquid, in the body section of your local health store or even at some supermarkets. You can also use fresh aloe from the aloe plant. Simply snap off one of the stems and gently squeeze to release the aloe.

Apply a generous dab of aloe on the cut, making sure to cover the entire surface of the cut and a small area surrounding it. Allow the aloe to sink in so it’s fully absorbed by your skin. If the cut is somewhat deep or in an area that gets nicked a lot, cover with a bandage during the day and leave it open at night.

5
Repeat the process of applying aloe at least twice a day until your cut disappears and your skin is once again flawless.
