Relay your symptoms to a doctor. Giving a call to a doctor will allow you to see how serious the concussion may be. Especially let them know if you are having any vomiting, weakness, or loss of memory.

2
Undergo any tests if the doctor wishes you to seek out emergency care. They may want you to come in to assess your neurological function and the extent of your head injury.

3
Apply ice to the head. Put the ice wrapped in a cloth at the site of injury. Leave the ice on for at least half an hour to reduce the swelling.

Allow yourself time to rest. Following a concussion, a doctor may order a period of bed rest.
