I think have fractured my arm the ulna half way between wrist and elbow a bit swollen bruised painful if touched but can move hand please help?
Immobilize your arm: Use a splint or sling to immobilize your arm and prevent further injury. You can make a makeshift splint by using a rolled-up newspaper or magazine and securing it with tape or cloth.
Apply ice: Applying ice to the swollen area can help reduce swelling and pain. Use an ice pack or a bag of frozen vegetables wrapped in a cloth and apply it to your arm for 15-20 minutes at a time, several times a day.
Elevate your arm: Elevating your arm above your heart can also help reduce swelling. Prop your arm up on pillows or cushions while you're sitting or lying down.
Take pain relievers: Over-the-counter pain relievers, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, can help relieve pain and inflammation.
Limit movement: Avoid moving your arm too much, as this can worsen the injury.
Remember, these are just temporary measures to help manage your symptoms until you can see a doctor. It's important to get a professional diagnosis and treatment for a fractured arm, as it may require further medical intervention such as immobilization, casting, or even surgery.
