In Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Trauma Center: Second Opinion, the "suture wound" command is used to close open wounds on a patient's body. When prompted by the game to perform this action, the player must use the stylus or controller to "sew" the edges of the wound together, effectively stapling the wound shut.
