Why a pimple heal?
When you get a pimple, your skin produces inflammation to try to fight off the bacteria that causes the pimple. This inflammation makes the pimple red, swollen, and tender. As your skin continues to produce inflammation, it can cause the pimple to fill with pus. This pus is made up of dead skin cells, bacteria, and other debris.
Eventually, the inflammation will start to go down, and the pimple will begin to heal. This healing process can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. During this time, the pimple will start to shrink, and the redness and swelling will go away. The pus may also come out of the pimple, and the skin around the pimple may start to flake off.
Once the pimple has completely healed, you may be left with a small scar. This scar will usually fade over time, but it may take several months or even years for it to completely disappear.
Here are some things you can do to help your pimple heal faster:
* Wash your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser.
* Do not pick or squeeze the pimple.
* Apply a topical acne treatment to the pimple.
* Take an over-the-counter pain reliever to relieve any pain or swelling.
* Get plenty of rest and eat a healthy diet.
By following these tips, you can help your pimple heal faster and reduce the risk of scarring.
