How many milk teeth do children get?
Children generally get 20 milk teeth. These teeth begin to erupt at around 6 months of age and are usually all in place by the time a child is 3 years old. The milk teeth are then gradually replaced by permanent teeth, starting with the first molars at around 6 years of age and ending with the wisdom teeth at around 21 years of age.
