How to Pay for Invisilign

Many years ago, the only option available for straightening your teeth would be to get metal braces. Due to medical advances, you now have other options. One of those options is to get Invisilign Orthodontic treatments. With Invisilign, you get transparent trays to insert into your mouth that, over time, will straighten your teeth just like regular braces. The average cost for metal braces is a few hundred of dollars higher than the national average for Invisilign. If you don't want to pay for your Invisilign treatment in one lump sum, you may qualify for other payment options.

Instructions

    • 1

Contact your dental insurance provider to inquire about whether or not Invisilign treatments are covered under your insurance plan. Your insurance company may require you to provide evidence that the treatments are medically necessary. Depending upon the type of insurance plan that you have, a deductible may or may not have to be paid before your insurance provider will pay for treatments.

Speak with a billing representative from your dentist office to see whether or not they have payment plans available for Invisilign treatments. If a payment plan is available, you will be able to pay for your treatment in installments, instead of one lump sum. Depending upon the dentist office, they very likely require a credit check before credit approval is granted.

Contact a company that offers you a credit account for health care services that you receive. This will require a credit check. Once approved for financing, you can receive your Invisilign treatments. You will then make payments to the health care services creditor until your entire balance is paid. The Invisilign website recommends "Care Credit" (no endorsement) to seek out financing.
