Actresses are allowed to have braces. In fact there have been many famous actresses who have worn them, including Emma Watson (who played Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" series) and Emma Roberts (who starred in the TV show "Unfabulous"). Nowadays braces are becoming more popular among adults as well and many consider them a popular style item so some actresses may get them even if they do not necessarily need them.
