Do the bands on braces go top and bottom?

The placement of bands on braces depends on the type of braces being used and the individual's orthodontic treatment plan. Generally, there are three main types of braces:

3. Lingual Braces: Unlike traditional and ceramic braces, lingual braces are placed on the inside (lingual surface) of the teeth, making them completely hidden from view. Since lingual braces are placed on the inside of the teeth, bands are not typically used with this type of braces.
