How does a vein with patency feel?
A vein with patency feels soft and spongy to the touch. It may also feel slightly pulsatile, as blood flows through the vein. To check the patency of a vein, a doctor may gently palpate the vein or use a Doppler ultrasound to listen for blood flow. A vein with good patency is essential for delivering blood back to the heart and preventing the development of blood clots.Cavities - Related Articles
