You are not putting a tampon in right?

It's important to use tampons correctly to ensure safety and comfort. Here are the steps on how to insert a tampon correctly:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.

2. Remove the tampon from its wrapper.

3. Hold the tampon with the string end pointing away from you.

4. Gently spread your labia with one hand and insert the tampon into your vagina.

5. Push the tampon in until only the string is visible.

6. Make sure the string is hanging out of your vagina so you can easily remove the tampon later.

If you have difficulty inserting the tampon, you can try relaxing or using a different insertion method, such as the "C" fold or the "7" fold. You can also use a tampon applicator if preferred.

It's also important to choose the right absorbency of tampon for your flow. A tampon that is too absorbent can cause dryness and discomfort, while a tampon that is too low in absorbency may leak.

If you experience any pain or discomfort while using a tampon, remove it and try again. If you continue to have problems, talk to your doctor.
