What should you do if are tight but need to put a tampon in?

If you are tight and need to put a tampon in, there are a few things you can do to make the process easier.

1. Relax your muscles. This is the most important step, as it will help to make the insertion of the tampon more comfortable. You can do this by taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, or by relaxing the muscles in your pelvic floor.

2. Use a smaller tampon. If you are not used to using tampons, you may want to start with a smaller size. This will help to reduce the amount of pressure on your hymen and make the insertion easier.

3. Use a lubricant. If you are still having difficulty inserting the tampon, you can try using a water-based lubricant. This will help to reduce friction and make the insertion more comfortable.

4. Experiment with different positions. Some people find that it is easier to insert a tampon while standing with one foot on the toilet seat, while others find that it is easier to do while squatting or sitting on the toilet. Experiment with different positions until you find one that works for you.

5. Don't force it. If you are unable to insert the tampon after trying the above tips, don't force it. This could cause pain and damage to your hymen. Instead, remove the tampon and try again later.

If you are still unable to insert a tampon, you should talk to your doctor. There may be an underlying medical condition that is causing the tightness.
