How to Get Rid of a Rotten Tooth
Pain localized to the teeth is often caused by cavities, which are small holes that occur in the teeth when proper dental hygiene is not met. When left unchecked, cavities can turn into a worse condition known as dental caries, or tooth rot. Tooth decay can be very painful and requires a dental professional to fix the tooth. If you have noticed any pain or discoloration on your teeth that might indicate tooth rot, the sooner you seek dental help the better.Instructions

1
Make an appointment with your dentist as soon as you feel any twinge of discomfort or sensitivity in the teeth. The longer you wait, the worse your tooth rot will get.
-
2
Discuss your pain with the dentist and have him examine the tooth to see what the extent of the decay is, and what course of action should be taken. Depending on the severity of the decay, the dentist will either order you to rinse heavily with fluoride to stop the decay in its tracks or set up an appointment for a filling or crown. In more extreme instances, the dentist will perform a root canal or remove the tooth entirely and replace it with an implant.

3
Pack the afflicted area with a clove until the day of your appointment. Cloves are one of the most commonly used natural remedies when it comes to dental pain.
-
4
Attend your dental appointment to have the afflicted tooth treated. After the appointment, consider the dental hygiene habits that led to your tooth decay. Make sure you are brushing, flossing and using a fluoride rinse regularly to prevent the decay from happening to your other healthy teeth.
