How to Cure a Tooth Ache
If you are suffering from a toothache, make arrangements to see your dentist as soon as possible. Toothaches are usually caused by decay, and can lead to more serious conditions. While you're waiting to get the professional care your toothache needs, you can temporarily soothe the pain.Things You'll Need
- Dental floss
- 2 tablespoons salt
- Ibuprofen or aspirin

Brush your teeth. Floss gently. These actions remove any foreign particles that may be further irritating the affected tooth.

Mix of 2 tablespoons of salt into a glass of warm water. Swish the mixture in your mouth for several seconds and then spit it out. Repeat as desired.

Take ibuprofen or aspirin to help with the swelling and pain of the toothache. Repeat every hour for 3 hours. You should notice a dramatic difference by the second hour and should be able to go about your normal day.
