How to Use a Perma Soft Denture Reliner
Perma Soft Denture Reliners are used when your dentures no longer fit snugly, and become loose. In April 2011, the kits were available online for $20 to $25; they are a cheaper alternative to having your dentures relined professionally. Reliners can make your dentures fit like new again -- and can relieve your gums from sore pressure points caused by poorly fitting dentures.Things You'll Need

1
Remove your dentures and scrub them clean with a small soft toothbrush and soap. Thoroughly scrub the nooks and crannies that go against your gums and the roof of your mouth. Dry with a clean paper towel. Rinse your mouth and ensure there are no food particles on your gums. Smear petroleum jelly all over the outside of the dentures to prevent the reline sticking.

Reline one denture at a time. Place one bottle of pink powder into the mixing cup. Pour the liquid into the powder and stir for one minute and 45 seconds or until it has the consistency of honey. Quickly spread it into the denture and spread it out. Place both dentures into your mouth then bite down firmly but gently. Don't clench your teeth, but hold a natural bite. Take the denture out after three minutes and run cold water through it. Trim excess material that has oozed out using a paring knife. Replace the denture and wear it for another three minutes. Check that you have trimmed all the excess material. Leave the denture to sit for 20 minutes. Reline the other denture using the same procedure.

Place the denture into water and baking soda and soak for at least 20 minutes. This will get rid of the taste and odor that many people find unpleasant.

4
Replace the denture reline if it becomes uncomfortable. You can remove a Perma Soft denture reliner by soaking overnight in peroxide solution and peeling it out in the morning. Most people find that the denture reliners last from two months to two years.
