How to Apply Cushion Grip to Dentures
Cushion Grip Denture Adhesive is made by Schering-Plough HC. Following application, it keeps its adhesive ability for multiple days without needing to be changed. Cushion Grip works on many fitted dentures, but will not prove effective if you need an adjustment. See your dentist immediately if you are having problems getting your dentures to stay in place. Cushion Grip is found in most retail chain pharmacies and online.Things You'll Need

1
Thoroughly clean your dentures with your preferred denture cleaner. Remove any adhesive that may linger on your dentures. Dry the dentures with a clean cloth or towel.
-
2
Apply the adhesive according to the directions on the package. Generally you do not need more than half a dozen small drops of adhesive for each denture. You may need to use extra adhesive on the bottom denture as sometimes the lower denture poses more problems with adhesive than the top denture. Using your fingers, press on the dentures firmly and hold for five to 10 seconds to let the adhesive bond to your gums. If the dentures still aren't firmly in place, bite down on the dentures for added pressure.
-
3
Wipe the excess adhesive from your mouth using a clean washcloth. It's likely that some of the adhesive will seep out of your dentures when you press down.
-
4
Leave the adhesive on your dentures for no more than four days. Remove your dentures and clean normally before you go to bed. The adhesive will stay intact in spite of the nightly cleaning.
