How to Cement Dental Bridges
A dental bridge, sometimes referred to as a fixed partial denture, is a type of dental restoration that is used to replaced missing or badly decayed teeth by joining dental implants or adjacent teeth. When breakage or slippage of these bridges occur, immediate access to a dental office for a professional repair is not always possible. However, there are temporary over-the-counter solutions that can be employed until a professional consultation is possible.Things You'll Need

1
Brush your teeth lightly with a soft toothbrush and water. This is to remove any leftover adhesive. Take care not to damage the bridge in this process. A clean surface free of any residue will aid in reattachment.
-
2
Dry the dental bridge with a paper towel.
-
3
Apply the dental cement in strict accordance with the product's directions. These directions may recommend to brush the cement onto a fully cleansed and dried surface, to line up the bridge with existing teeth to ensure the most secure fit, to put the bridge in place and to apply pressure for one minute or more.
-
4
Remove excess cement from your teeth and gums after re-attachment. Be careful so as not to detach the bridge.
