  Get the recovery manual from your oral surgeon prior to your appointment. Most oral surgeons will have a recovery manual that they provide to you during your preliminary appointment. Take this home and make sure that you purchase all of the items from the list.

  Wear the right clothing to your surgery. You want to make sure that you wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothing to the procedure. Sweatpants and a t-shirt will suffice. Avoid tight fitting pants and clothing.

  Buy recover supplies beforehand. Head to local drugstore and make sure that you buy all of the needed recover items prior to your surgery. This way you will have them ready once you return home from the surgery.
