How to Get the Smoke Smell Out of Your Mouth
The smell of cigarette smoke can linger on your clothing, hair and breath for quite some time. Even if the cigarettes you smoke are filtered, tar and nicotine will leave an odor of smoke in your mouth. This unpleasant odor can turn off nonsmokers, making it unappealing to talk to or kiss you. If you choose to continue smoking, good dental hygiene will help remove the smoky taste and odor from your mouth.Things You'll Need

1
Take a vitamin C supplement each day. The nicotine found in cigarettes depletes your body of vitamin C. This depletion is linked to bad breath, making it important to replace depleted vitamin C.
-
2
Brush your teeth using a toothpaste that freshens breath or helps with bad-breath problems. Brush regularly in the morning and at night but also after smoking to clean your mouth and help remove odor.
-
3
Gargle with mouthwash when brushing is not an option or to supplement tooth-brushing. Swirl the mouthwash around your mouth for half a minute or so to deodorize smoke smell.
-
4
Chew on spearmint leaves or fresh parsley to naturally deodorize your breath. Spearmint can be easily grown on a sunny window ledge or in a garden, and parsley is often used as a garnish on restaurant meals. Both herbs can be swallowed after you've chewed them.
