How to Remove Permanent Gold Teeth

While gold teeth or crowns are an excellent choice for a permanent restoration, they are not invincible. If the margin of a crown is not sealed correctly, microscopic bacteria can make its way beneath it. There are an abundance of permanent cements that dentists use to secure the restorations into place. These cements are formulated to keep the crowns secure. According to the Doctorspiller website, when a crown needs to be removed, cutting the restoration completely off is the best way to ensure the safety of any remaining tooth structure underneath. This should only be performed by a licensed dentist.
