1
Take a long drink of water after waking up. This will help wash the bad taste out of your mouth and force a lot of the bacteria and its waste down your throat and into your stomach.
-
2
Eat breakfast. Once you start eating to get your metabolism going for the day, the glands in your mouth start to produce saliva to help you digest your food. In addition, the saliva also helps wash away the bacteria and its waste that cause your bad breath.

3
Brush and floss your teeth. Brushing not only gets rid of small food particles that can cause cavities, it also scrubs away bacterial waste, kills germs and leaves a nice, minty scent behind in your mouth. Don't forget to brush your tongue, the roof of your mouth and the insides of your cheeks. These places are breeding grounds for bacteria that will continue to grow and multiply throughout the day. If you take the time to brush them, you'll ensure that you kill as many as possible. Finish off with a mouthwash that kills germs and bacteria.

Pop in a breath mint or chew some gum if your bad breath still isn't completely gone. These small things in your mouth keep you producing saliva, which will cause even more bacteria to be washed down your throat. They also do a great job of masking bad smells in your mouth.
