How to Use Clove Oil for Nerve Decay in a Tooth
Tooth decay is caused by bacteria that survive in the mouth after eating or drinking. The bacteria gradually build up to form plaque, which in turn eats away at the enamel and underlying tissue of the teeth. The resulting decay can rot teeth to the root below the gum, causing pain and infection. - Cloves
- Small airtight container
- Olive oil
- Store bought oil of clove if you do not have the time to prepare
- Sterile cotton balls

Rinse your mouth with warm water. Do not use hot water or mouthwash if you think you have tooth decay. It will burn.

Add four pieces of clove to an airtight container. Use six pieces if the cloves are more than two weeks old.

Pour enough olive oil to cover the cloves. Place the cover on the container and shake twice a day for two weeks. Oil of clove and also be purchased at a health-food store or pharmacy.

Place two drops of oil of clove on a sterile cotton ball; apply it to the affected area twice a day. Oil of clove can be toxic if overused; do not exceed this amount. Do not use for more than three days.
