Preparing and Gargling a Hydrogen Peroxide Antiseptic

  Prepare 4 ounces of lukewarm water in an 8 ounce cup. Add an equal amount of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide to the cup so you have a 50/50 split of equal parts hydrogen peroxide and water. Stir well.

  Gargle a mouthful of hydrogen peroxide mouthwash for 30 seconds and spit it out. Rinse your mouth with water.

  Pour the remaining mouthwash into an opaque or brown bottle and close the lid tightly. Place the mouthwash in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
