How to Use Therabreath

The TheraBreath line of dental care products was introduced to the world by Dr. Harold Katz in 1994. The purpose of the formulations was to help people get rid of bad breath, not by masking the smells, but by eradicating the causes of the bad breath. The products also deal with a wide array of other mouth-related problems from dry mouth to sour taste in the mouth. The key to success is using the products on a regular basis and using them correctly.

Make up your mind that your oral hygiene is going to be ongoing and all day. You have to start when you wake up by using the tongue scraper. Move it up and down over the surfaces of the tongue four or five times. This will remove bacteria that cause odors. Wash the scraper thoroughly when you are done.

    • 2

Apply some TheraBreath tooth gel on the scraper and run it over the surfaces of your tongue again four or five times. Do not rinse after doing this.

    • 3

Put a layer of TheraBreath tooth gel on a dry toothbrush. Brush your teeth using a circular motion. Make sure you get all the surfaces of the teeth, the top of your mouth and the inside of your cheeks. Spit out any excess but do not rinse.

    • 4

Pour two capfuls of TheraBreath medicated rinse into a cup. Pour the rinse into your mouth. Use a swishing motion all around your mouth for 1½ minutes. Then spit out the rinse into the sink.

    • 5

Dip regular dental floss into the TheraBreath rinse. Floss your teeth the way you normally would and then pour two more capfuls of TheraBreath medicated rinse and this time gargle with it getting the liquid as far back as you can. Do not eat or drink anything for about a half-hour.

    • 6

Insert one or two drops of TheraBreath Nasal Sinus drops into each side of your nose with your head tilted back. Allow the drops to flow down to your throat to clean out the nasal passages.

    • 7

Repeat these steps after each meal. If you cannot do this at lunch, keep a supply of TheraBreath chewing gum, power drops or breath spray with you.
