How to Change the Battery in a Pulsar Toothbrush

Twist the bottom part of the handle with a counter-clockwise motion to loosen it. A seal is in place, so you may need pliers for this in order to apply enough force to loosen it. Be careful though, as too much force can crack the plastic.

Turn the small piece of metal that is acting as a contact for the battery to the side. Use needle-nose pliers for this, and do it very gently. Also, only twist it as minimally far as possible in order to free the battery. Twisting too far or too roughly can break or bend the metal, which will ruin the toothbrush.

Remove the old AAA battery and insert the new one.

Twist the metal contact back into place gently.

Reattach the plastic cover to the handle of the toothbrush.
