How to Brush After Using Peridex

Peridex, an medicated oral rinse prescribed by a dentist, treats reddened, swollen or inflamed gums caused by gingivitis. The main ingredient in Peridex, chlorhexadine gluconate, an antimicrobial, lessens the amount of bacteria present in your mouth. While you are supposed to brush your teeth before using Peridex, you should also brush your teeth afterward to prevent staining from the product. Yet, you must adhere to the product instructions.
