How to Clean a Valplast Partial Denture
Valplast partial dentures are made of flexible material that is more comfortable to wear than rigid partials. The material of Valplast partials blends with your gums and is nearly invisible because there are no metal pieces. Valplast partials, however, must be cared for differently than a regular partial, because of their flexible material. With proper care, your partial will maintain its original luster and last for years.Things You'll Need

1
Remove your Valplast partial and hold it under warm running water to remove loose pieces of food. Never use a toothbrush to remove food pieces. A toothbrush will scratch your Valplast partial and cause the material to lose its shine. Run your partial under running water after you eat to keep your partial clean.

2
Fill a cup with warm water and put your partial in the cup. You should soak your partial in water for 10 to 15 minutes per day and overnight at least three times per week. When soaking overnight, you should use Val-Clean Concentrated Denture Cleaner, which will clean your partial. Never use any other brand of denture cleaner, because it may be too harsh for your Valplast partial and will not be as effective.

3
Put your partial in a sonic denture cleaner to remove particles. Because a toothbrush cannot be used on Valplast partials, sonic cleaning is the best way to thoroughly clean your partial.
