How to Check on a Dentist License
Before a dentist can legally practice dentistry, he must meet the licensing requirements of the dental board in the state where he intends to work. The requirements may vary in each state, but there are three basic requirements that must be met before a dentist can be licensed; he must be a graduate of an American Dental Association-accredited dental program, pass a two-part written examination and pass a clinical examination. If you're concerned about the license status of your dentist, you can verify his credentials by contacting your state's dental licensing board.Instructions
