1
Call your dentist and make an emergency appointment to have your bridge reattached if it slips from your mouth. If you can't reach him, or it will be awhile before you can be seen, you can take steps to temporarily reattach the bridge yourself.
-
2
Brush your teeth gently using a soft toothbrush and water. Be sure to remove any adhesive residue. Your clean teeth and gums will provide a suitable surface for attaching the bridge.

3
Brush your bridge gently using a soft toothbrush and water. Be sure to remove any adhesive residue without damaging the bridge.
-
4
Dry the bridge with a paper towel or gauze.
-
5
Apply the over-the-counter dental adhesive according to the label directions. The directions often recommend brushing adhesive onto a clean dry surface, securing the crown or bridge in place and applying light pressure for at least one minute.
-
6
Be sure that you have lined up the bridge with your existing teeth to avoid gaps between the bridge and your teeth or gums. This secure fit will be more comfortable.
-
7
Do not eat or drink for at least one hour. Do not eat hard food until you are able to see your dentist.
-
8
Clean any excess adhesive from your teeth and gums according to the label directions. Be gentle to avoid detaching the bridge.
