How to Rate a Dentist

Going to the dental office can be scary and even nerve-wracking. Fortunately, most dentists are aware that patients are less than psyched about being there and will do their best to make people feel at ease. However, some dentists aren't highly recommended by others. To let others know how you feel about your dentist, rate him or her.

Instructions

    • 1

Ask the receptionist at your dental office for a suggestion card. On this card, you will be able to rate the office as well as add comments about any of the dentists or staff that work there. This will let the office know what they need to work on.

    • 2

Visit business review websites such as Vimo (see References). Here you can search for and rate your dentist as well as read other ratings from patients just like you.

    • 3

Create a website or a blog dedicated to each of your visits with that particular dentist. Keep a log and rate each visit. You may also allow others to add their experiences with that particular dentist.

Speak with your local paper about adding a rating section for local businesses, such as dental offices, or write an article for them yourself. Because many people find themselves getting anxious and scared to go to a dentist, this would be an excellent way to help them find a comforting, caring dentist.
