1
Place a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on the toothbrush. Set an egg timer to three minutes and begin to brush your teeth. Move the toothbrush in a circular motion, with moderate pressure, across all areas of the teeth and gum tissue. Rinse your mouth with water until the grit of the toothpaste is gone. Repeat this procedure two to three times a day.

Break off a piece of floss approximately 9 to 10 inches long. Wrap the floss two to three times around your middle fingers until the center portion of the floss is tight. Use the tips of your pointer fingers and thumbs to maneuver the floss in between each tooth. Wrap the floss in a "C" shape around the teeth and move the floss up and down. Rinse your mouth with water to remove debris. Repeat this step daily.
