Hydro Floss Pocket Pal Jet Tips

Pocket Pal Jet Tips are small irrigation tubes made for use with the Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator, which is a home dental irrigation system. Dental irrigation is the use of water at high pressure to clean the teeth and gums. The jet tips are removable tips that attach to the Hydro Floss irrigation system to provide the stream of water.

  1. Instructions

    • To use the Pocket Pal Jet Tips, open the tip and snap it into place on the handle. Place the pressure setting on the main unit to "4" and fill the reservoir with water. Turn on the unit and re-adjust the pressure if necessary until it is at a comfortable level. Point the stream of water into the gum region and over the teeth to clean.

    Antibacterial Treatment

    • To improve the overall effect of the Hydro Floss treatment, add an antibacterial agent, such as antiseptic mouthwash, to the cleaning solution. Adding an antibacterial agent will further help protect the gums against periodontal disease, such as gingivitis.

    Additional Information

    • The Hydro Floss Company recommends that individuals dispose used Jet Tips and replace with a new tip every 90 days. The Jet Tips are available in packages of four color-coded tips so that individuals in a family or home that share an irrigation machine can identify their personal Jet Tip. Jet Tips are available at some drugstores and online.
