How to Treat Periodontitis

- Tooth Brush

Get your teeth cleaned and talk to dentist to properly diagnosis the problem. Have your teeth scaled to remove tartar buildup.

Brush twice daily to stop plaque accumulation in your mouth.

Floss at least once a day to remove tartar build up near your gums and between your teeth.

Use an alcohol-based mouthwash after flossing to irrigate the mouth of bacteria under the gums and to help reduce bleeding.

Consider switching from a normal tooth brush to an oral irrigator such as Oral Breeze, which brushes then irrigates tartar and bacteria away from the teeth and gums.

Extreme cases may require surgery as recommended by a professional dentist.
