Can you use clove oil for gum disease?
* You can use clove oil by adding a few drops to a cup of water and gargling with it for 30 seconds.
* You can also apply a few drops of clove oil directly to the affected gum area using a cotton swab.
* Be sure to dilute the clove oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut or olive oil, as clove oil can be irritating to the skin.
* Clove oil should not be swallowed.
