CLEAN DENTURES - Clean and dry your dentures thoroughly before attempting to insert them. If they are wet, they may slip out of place slightly and be uncomfortable. To clean your dentures, brush them thoroughly with a toothbrush and toothpaste and then rinse thoroughly.

ADHESIVES - Squeeze your adhesive from the top of the tube. Apply small drops around the dentures, you can start with a small amount and add more if you need to. There are other types of adhesives available such as powder and strips. Try several kinds until you find one that works well for you. The adhesive is key when you are learning how to properly insert dentures.

RINSE - Rinse your mouth out with water before inserting dentures. You may also want to brush your tongue and gums with either baking soda or toothpaste before inserting your dentures.

INSERT - Press the dentures onto your gums and hold them firmly in place. Next you will want to bite down firmly on the dentures to make sure that they are properly fitted. For comfort and safety you want to make sure that you know how to properly insert dentures.
