How to Make Gel Tooth Paste

Buying toothpaste every time you run out can be bothersome. Consider making your own batch of all natural gel toothpaste to cut dental hygiene costs and to provide you the convenience of not having to run to the store every time you run out.

Things You'll Need

  • 5 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. of table sea salt
  • 5 tsp. of vegetable glycerin
  • 2 tsp. of aloe vera gel
  • 10 drops of eucalyptus, peppermint, cinnamon or spearmint oil
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wooden stir or spoon
  • Squeeze tube

Instructions

      Mix 5 tsp. of baking soda, 1/4 tsp. of sea salt and 5 tsp. of vegetable glycerin gel. Stir well to a moderately thick consistency with a wooden stir or spoon.

      Add in 2 tsp. of aloe vera gel to give the paste a gel consistency.

      Add 10 drops of eucalyptus, peppermint, cinnamon or spearmint oil into the gel paste. Stir well for approximately 60 seconds.

      Add water in spurts -- mixing well in between -- if you want the gel paste to have a thinner consistency.

      Pour mixture into a medium squeeze bottle.
