How to Make Survival Toothpaste

There are many reasons to make your own toothpaste. During an emergency situation, commercial toothpaste may not be available.   • Finely ground sea salt

      Cover a table with newspaper or a disposal plastic tablecloth.

      Place 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. sea salt, 1 drop peppermint oil and a few drops of water in your bowl.

      Stir the ingredients with a spoon until you have a smooth, thick paste.

      Place the usual toothpaste amount of this mixture on your toothbrush, and brush for at least two minutes for best results.
