Waterpik Flosser Replacement Tips
-
Classic Jet Tip
-
Waterpik's classic jet tip, JT-100E, offers the standard cleaning device for teeth and gum. According to the manufacturer's website it is clinically proven to be twice as effective as string floss in improving gum health. Use with both of Waterpik's water flossers; the ultra water flosser and the cordless plus water flosser. The manufacturer recommends changing every six months. To alter the water pressure from the replacement tip, choose either the classic high-pressure tip, JT-450E, or the low-pressure tip, JT-360E.
Plaque Seeker Tip
-
The Plaque Seeker Tip, PS-100E, is the device to be used for implants, crowns and bridges. These artificial devices require a specialized tip due to the problems they create. The Plaque Seeker uses bristles to reach plaque that builds up around the artificial devices in the mouth. Recommend changing every three months to provide fresh bristles.
Orthodonic Tip
-
OD-100E, the Orthodonic Tip, offers yet another option by Waterpik. This replacement tip reaches plaque around braces and wires. According to Waterpik it is clinically proven to eliminate three times as much plaque as string floss. Replace every three months.
Pik Pocket Tip
-
The Pik Pocket Tip, PP-100E, is the choice for the individual with periodontal disease. A soft pressure tip delivers low-pressure therapeutic rinses below the gum line to combat the disease. The manufacturer recommends changing these tips every three months.
Toothbrush Tip
-
The Toothbrush Tip, TB-100E, gives the user a tip that combines a toothbrush and flosser. Toothpaste is optional. Replace these tips every three months.
