How to Brush the Inside of Your Teeth
Have you ever been confused by a dentist telling you your teeth aren't clean enough? Brushing isn't just for the easy-to-reach parts of your teeth. If bacteria are left on the inside of your teeth, you become susceptible to things like bad breath or gum disease. - Toothpaste

Squeeze the toothpaste tube over the toothbrush. Cover the toothbrush with toothpaste. Hold the toothbrush inside your mouth on the bottom teeth. Hold the brush so that the bristles are facing out toward your lips.

Place the bristles against the inside of your teeth. Hold the brush horizontally at a 45-degree angle so that it lines up with your teeth. Starting at the back of either the left or right side and move the bristles in a gentle circular motion. Move the bristles inward until you reach the teeth in the middle of your mouth.

Hold the brush with the bristles still facing out toward your lips. Hold the brush so that it is vertical, with the handle up toward the ceiling. Move the bristles in small circles along the backs of your front bottom teeth.

When you pass the middle teeth, hold the brush horizontally once again. Continue to use a gentle circular motion on the backs of the teeth on the side until you reach the last tooth in the back.

Hold the brush horizontally against your back top teeth. Continue moving the brush in a circular motion to clean the teeth.

When you reach your top middle teeth, hold the brush vertically with the handle down toward the ground. Keep using a circular motion on the back of your middle teeth.

Hold the brush horizontally again. Place the bristles behind the teeth on the side you have not yet cleaned. Repeat the circular motion to clean these teeth.
