How to Remove Sticky Varnish From Teeth
Fluoride treatments strengthen teeth and help with hypersensitivity. After a fluoride application, sticky varnish remains on the teeth. You can feel the fluoride residue -- a similar texture to plaque -- on your teeth with the tip of your tongue. A little elbow grease, toothbrush and floss remove the varnish from the teeth. It is best to resume oral hygiene a day after fluoride applications. This gives the fluoride time to absorb into your teeth. Fluoride treatments come in various colors. Your teeth will have a slight tint and film that is the same color as the fluoride treatment. After brushing, your teeth will turn back to normal color and texture.Things You'll Need
