What Replacement Brushes Can I Use With the RS930 Sonicare?

The Sonicare RS930 rechargeable electric toothbrush is part of the Flexcare line of toothbrushes offered by Philips. Created as an update to the e-series -- Sonicare's previous line of brushes -- the Flexcare toothbrushes offer a versatile range of customizable options to consumers. Philips reports that its sonic technology cleans teeth better than traditional or other electric toothbrushes.

All-Around Clean Brush Head

• The Sonicare All-Around Clean brush head features a snap-on design and contoured bristles to clean deep within teeth. The reminder bristles notify users when a brush head needs to be changed. This brush head was designed with the Sonicare user in mind, providing angled brushes that work in harmony with the pivoting motion of the Sonicare toothbrush. The All-around Clean brushes are available in single or three-packs.

Focussed Clean Brush

• The Sonicare Focussed Clean brush was designed for users who required the cleaning benefits of the All-Around Clean brush heads, but desired the use of a more compact-sized head. The Focussed Clean brushes also utilize a snap-on design, contoured bristles to clean between teeth, angled bristles to work in conjunction with the Sonicare's sweeping motion and reminder bristles. This brush head -- available in single or multi-packs -- is designed for individuals with smaller teeth or mouths, or to accompany the All-Around Clean brush by cleaning hard-to-reach areas.

In-Between Clean Brush

• The snap-on Sonicare In-Between Clean brush applies Philips HydroGuide technology to direct toothpaste and water between teeth to clean in tight spaces. Sonicare sells this brush head, also with color-changing reminder bristles, individually and in three-packs.

Third-Party Brushes

• Several third-party brush heads offered through major retailers will fit Sonicare Flexcare toothbrushes. Often much cheaper than the models offered by Philips, these brush heads come in a variety of sizes and styles, including large multi-packs with up to eight heads.

Compatibility

• Brush heads for the Sonicare e-series brush handles aren't compatible with the Flexcare series. You can identify these handles by the large, screw-on top that attaches the brush head to the toothbrush, in addition to the protruding magnet at the bottom of the brush head.
