Directions for Advance Pro Whitening Strips

Having your teeth professionally whitened can cost more than $1,000 depending on the method used. If you desire to have white teeth, but don't want to spend a lot of money, you can use advanced whitening strips to whiten your teeth. The whitening strips are coated with a tooth whitening gel that contains peroxide and is similar to the ones dentists use. The advanced strips differ from regular whitening strips because they give you a professional level of whitening, eliminate stains below the tooth's surface and don't slip off your teeth. To get the best results, proper application is required.

Instructions

    • 1

Avoid brushing your teeth before applying the whitening strips. Remove each whitening strip from its foil pouch.

    • 2

Apply the upper strip first. Peel the upper strip from its backing and apply the side with the gel onto your upper teeth. Adjust the strip to align it with your upper gumline. Apply light pressure to the strip to make sure it is in full contact with your teeth. Fold over the remaining strip underneath your upper teeth.

    • 3

Remove the lower strip from its foil pouch and place it on your bottom teeth. Align the strip with your lower gumline and add light pressure to promote gel distribution. Fold the remaining strip over your bottom teeth.

    • 4

Wash and dry your hands and wipe any excess gel from your face and lips.

    • 5

Wait for 30 minutes before removing the strips. Pull the upper strip from your teeth followed by the lower strip. Discard both strips. Rinse your mouth with water or brush your teeth to get rid of any whitening gel stuck to them. Avoid wearing the strips for longer than 30 minutes per session to avoid gum discomfort and prevent your teeth from becoming sensitive.

Repeat this whitening process once a day. Expect to see whiter teeth after three days of use and full results after 20 days.
