How to Whiten Your Teeth if Some Are Fake
When considering tooth-whitening, it is important to know what the crowns, bridges or other false teeth in your mouth are made of. Although real teeth respond well to over-the-counter tooth-whitening treatments, replacement teeth made of porcelain are rarely affected. When they are made, porcelain teeth are tinted to match your existing teeth, and their color rarely changes. Acrylic teeth may become stained over time, and sometimes they can be lightened, but they are also harder to lighten than real teeth. If your fake teeth are too dark, you may have to have them replaced, using a color that matches your natural teeth.Instructions

1
Consult with your dentist to determine what are the best whitening options for your situation. The dentist may suggest whitening trays or whitening strips.

2
If the color difference between your real teeth and your artificial teeth is too great, the dentist may recommend having the artificial teeth replaced with new, lighter ones.

3
When your artificial teeth once again match your real teeth, take steps to avoid staining them in the future. Avoid coffee, tea and other liquids that tend to stain teeth.

Brush your teeth with a paste made from a combination of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Or, use a "whitening" toothpaste that contains baking soda. This will help keep teeth bright.
