How to Whiten Gray Teeth
Gray teeth can be the result of medications, antibiotics, tooth trauma, tobacco use and the consumption of a variety of food and drink. These are unsightly and may prevent you from wanting to smile. Teeth can be stubborn to whiten, but there are actions you can take to turn your gray smile into a healthy, white smile once again. Prior to beginning any tooth whitening process, talk to your dentist about the cause of your gray teeth.Instructions

Practice good dental hygiene. Floss your teeth daily and brush your teeth after every meal -- when possible. Brush at least twice per day. While brushing, use a whitening toothpaste.

2
Use over-the-counter tooth whitening strips. These can be purchased at your local grocery store or drugstore. Strips are placed on your upper and lower teeth twice a day for 15 to 30 minutes at a time. Other the course of 14 days, your teeth should become noticeably whiter. Instructions may vary, based on the brand you purchase.

Talk to your doctor about whitening options in a dental office. Your dentist may be able to bleach your teeth, or provide you with laser tooth whitening procedures. These procedures are considered cosmetic and are not usually covered by dental insurance.
