When using the improved product, you'll find that you apply them in the same way, but you'll experience a better gripping product with an easier removal, according to information on the Crest website.

  Tear open the foil packet that contains the strips. Remove the strips from the packaging.

  Peel away the backing from the strips and align the gel-coated side of the strips with your upper and lower teeth, parallel to the gum line. Press the strips gently with your fingertips to secure them in place. Fold the remaining portion of the strip under or over your teeth.

  Allow the strips to remain in place for 30 minutes. Remove and throw away. Repeat once daily.
